FREE SELF-ESTEEM WORKSHEETS

Free self-esteem worksheets are provided below to help you assess where you stand at this time and what areas you need to work on.

I have provided two free self-esteem worksheets. The first is a self-evaluation tool which evaluates your strengths and weaknesses. The second is a brief worksheet that you can share with your children to help them focus on positive qualities.

These worksheets should be completed when you have some quiet time to reflect and focus. They are similar to writing in a journal and don’t need to be shared with anyone else.

WORKSHEET # 1

SELF-ESTEEM AND SELF-EVALUATION WORKSHEET

Section One: Your Strengths

1. Make a list of your accomplishments. This could be awards or contests you have won, such as winning a golf tournament, winning a customer service award at work or graduating with honors.

2. What are you good at? Are you particularly talented at decorations? How about organizing or cooking? Many people are quick to say they are not good at anything, but everybody is good at something. If you are at a loss as to how to answer this question, ask your family or friends. They may tell you that you are good at calming everybody down when they are feeling stressed, or that you are good at listening.

3. What comes easy to you? Do you find it easy to plan a party or an agenda for a meeting? Do you think it’s easy to write an essay or to add numbers in your head?

4. What character traits do you possess that you feel are assets? Some examples are kindness, patience, being a good listener, being considerate of the feelings of others.

5. What do you think others will remember you for? What do you most want to be remembered for when you are gone? We will all leave a legacy. What is yours?

Section Two: Your Weaknesses

1. What skills or characteristics do you lack that you think would make you more successful and happy in your life?

2. What situations in your life do you wish you had the opportunity to handle differently?

3. What do you most want to change about yourself?

Section Three: Where Are You Going From Here?

1. Who can you ask for help to help you to get where you most want to go? This could mean the assistance of family and friends, or it could mean taking a class to improve a skill.

2. What strengths have you identified above that you may not be using to their full potential? How can you build on what you already have and turn it into more?

3. If you had the ability to change just one thing about yourself, what would it be?
